Details:  In three movements to be played in the order preferred by the performers.  Movements:  I. Love at First Frenzy (aka Tension and Release); II. Lament (aka A Cruel Kind of Love); III. Vamping on Love (aka The Happy Medium).  For Michael Becker, principal trombonist, Tucson Symphony Orchestra.

Details:  In two movements.  Percussion section requires three percussionists with much use of Latin and Brazilian percussion.  Original score requires soloist to sing and play at the same time in the slow and soft section of the second movement, as written for Anthony Kniffen.  Alternate section without the singing available.  Commissioned by Anthony Kniffen, principal, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
